FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) -- A Farmington Hills woman is planning to leave the country after winning $25,000 a year for life.
After playing the Michigan Lottery’s Lucky for Life game and matching the five white balls, 11-19-21-39-46 -- drawn June 5 -- Roxandy Kramarich, 72, ended up winning big.
She bought her winning ticket online at MichiganLottery.com.
“I’ve been having good luck with the Lucky for Life game lately, so I’ve been playing quite a bit,” said Kramarich. “I saw an email from the Lottery notifying me of a prize, but it didn’t say how much I’d won. I logged in to my account and was shocked when I saw I’d won $25,000 a year for life! I kept checking my account balance to make sure it was real.”
The Michigan Lottery said she chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $390,000, rather than annuity payments of $25,000 for 20 years or life, whichever is greater.
With her winnings, Kramarich plans to vacation to Europe and complete some home improvement projects.
