YPSILANTI TWP. (WWJ) Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies are involved in a standoff with a barricaded gunman at an Ypsilanti Twp. apartment complex.
Deputies are asking people to avoid the area around the Aspen Chase Apartments on Golfside, between Washtenaw and Clark, as of about 7 p.m. Friday.
Investigators believe the suspect was involved in an armed robbery at a nearby phone store. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
There are no reports of any injuries at this time.
