
(WWJ) – For more than a year, gas prices have been a major pain for Metro Detroit drivers.But recently, that’s seemed to have changed.
Last March, as the U.S. recovered from the pandemic, gas started to rise rather quickly. At the peak this June, gas was $4.99, making struggles with rising inflation all the tougher.
But things have changed in the last several weeks, with prices falling closer to the $3 mark. On a new Daily J podcast, WWJ's Zach Clark breaks down what's bringing down prices and how long we can expect the reprieve to last.
