
(WWJ) – A few months ago, there were 10 Michiganders vying for the Republican nomination to challenge Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in this fall’s gubernatorial election. After issues with petition signatures cut the field in half, we’re now down to just one.
Tudor Dixon beat out four other candidates to win Tuesday’s primary election, setting off what she says will be “an epic battle” against Whitmer leading up to the November election. Dixon, garnering a late endorsement from former President Donald Trump, is now tasked with uniting the GOP to unseat the governor.
