DETROIT (WWJ) -- An $80,000 car stolen earlier this month from a Brownstown dealership was recovered, but most of its parts were found in an illegal "Chop Shop" on the city's west side.

The Dodge Charger hellcat was stolen from a storage lot on King Road, near Allen Road, along with three other vehicles, said officials.

After Detroit police officials found the car on the side of the road with most of its parts stripped, they called Brownstown police.

The theft ended up being connected to the big "Chop Shop" bust by Detroit police on Monday.

Authorities said that among the parts inside the building on West Chicago, they discovered $75,000 dollars worth of parts from the stolen Hellcat.
