WATCH: Cops seek suspect who broke into home, stabbed victim in Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are pursuing information from the community regarding a home invasion and aggravated assault on the city's northwest side.

The incident happened on Monday, June 6, at approximately 6 a.m. in the 12600 block of Mettetal Street.

Police say the suspect broke into the residence and stabbed a 29-year-old male victim, before fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and has since been released.

Authorities say the suspect is described as a male and was last seen wearing a black mask and all-black clothing.
