(WWJ) The Ann Arbor Police Department is searching for suspects in a home invasion and sexual assault in a neighborhood near the University of Michigan campus.
According to U-M Public Safety Department Crime Alert, it happened at around 1 p.m. Friday, in the 500 block of Lawrence Street, near State Street.
Police said the suspect entered the home through an unlocked exterior door, got into the sleeping victim's bed, and started touching her.
When the woman screamed, the intruder ran away.
There is no description of the suspect at this time.
As police investigate, they are urging U-M students and other area residents to keep their windows and doors locked at night.
