FLINT (WWJ) - The search for a missing Flint man is over after authorities identified a body found in a wheelchair along Dort Highway as the 27-year-old who was last seen three months ago.

Questions remain after police said they were called out to the 4000 block of Dort Highway after someone reported seeing a body slouched over in a wheelchair on April 27.

The Flint Police Department said the man was discovered dead and was later identified as 27-year-old Todd Walsh, a Flint resident, who was last seen leaving his home on February 1 in the 1900 block of Colon Street.

Walsh was reported missing a month later in March, authorities added.

Police have not released additional details, but in an earlier missing person's flyer notifying the public of Walsh's disappearance, there was no mention of him using a wheelchair.

Authorities had believed he was possibly in Detroit or Saginaw.

The cause of Walsh's death has yet to be determined by the medical examiner, police added.

Detectives are seeking information connected to Walsh's disappearance and death. Anyone with any information has been asked to call the Flint Police Department as 810-237-6977.

Tipsters who wish to remain 100% anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL (5245).
