DETROIT (WWJ) – The man accused of killing two people during an argument on Detroit’s west side last week has turned himself in to police.
Dejuan Gillum, 30, is in police custody after allegedly killing two men on June 1 in the 14300 block of Crescent Drive – near Evergreen and Schoolcraft.
Authorities say there was an argument between Gillum and the two victims, ages 21 and 27, around 9 p.m. that night.
At some point, Gillum pulled out a gun, fired multiple shots and then fled the scene on foot.
Detroit police released Gillum’s photo and had been asking the public for tips before he turned himself in on Tuesday.
Authorities have not said what triggered the argument between the men. The victims’ names have not been released.
Officials have not given any word on possible charges against Gillum.
