Have you seen Johnny Robinson? Detroit man with mental illness disappears from home

DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are asking for the public’s help tracking down a man with a mental illness who went missing last week.

Johnny Robinson was last seen in the 20200 block of Moenart – near 8 Mile and Mound Roads on the city’s northeast side – on March 12.

Police officials say the 53-year-old Robsinon left his home around 1 p.m. that day and hasn’t been seen since.

Robinson is described as approximately 6-foot-1, 280 lbs. He has brown eyes and a bald head, according to police.

His wife tells police he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white gym shoes and a black skull cap.

Authorities are asking anyone who has seen Robinson or has information regarding his whereabouts to call the Detroit Police Department’s 11th Precinct at 313-596-1101.
