DETROIT (WWJ) – The search is on for three suspects who were caught on video opening fire on a Jeep in a Detroit convenience store parking lot Tuesday night.
Detroit police are asking for tips finding the suspects in the shooting, which happened shortly before 6 p.m. at Nino’s Market near Warren and Outer Drive on the city’s east side.
Police released video of the shooting, showing three male suspects run up to a white Jeep Cherokee and fire shots as it’s leaving the parking lot.
A 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman inside the Jeep were injured in the shooting, while a third person in the Jeep was uninjured. The victims drove to a nearby hospital and were listed in stable condition, according to Detroit police.

The suspects escaped in a gray SUV. All three suspects were wearing all black clothing, and one of them was wearing white shoes.
The surveillance video shows at least two people sitting in their cars outside the store and several cars passing by on Warren at the time of the shooting. One person in a blue jacket who was waiting to cross the street is seen running from the scene when gunfire erupts.
Authorities have not released a possible motive in the shooting.
Officials are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or knows something about the shooting to call the Detroit Police Department’s 5th Precinct at 313-596-5540 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
