Detroit police seeking suspect who kicked DDOT bus, pointed gun at driver

DETROIT (WWJ) – The search is on for a man who Detroit police say pointed a gun at a DDOT bus driver last month.

Authorities say the suspect and driver got into an argument on Dec. 12 and the suspect eventually kicked the bus door and pointed a gun at the driver.

Police did not say what prompted the argument and it was not clear whether any other passengers were on board at the time.

Video posted to Twitter on Dec. 28 shows the suspect kicking the door and the driver pulling away.

Detroit police on Tuesday renewed their calls for tips in identifying the suspect, whose photo can also be seen below.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or may have other information about the incident is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-5540.
