Detroit police searching for elderly man missing for three weeks

Detroit (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for information from the public as investigators are on the search for an elderly man who has been missing for three weeks.

According to police, 82-year-old Michael LaBrecque went missing from the 5200 block of Sheridan St.

LaBrecque’s friends said they last spoke to him about three weeks ago.

Since that time he has not been heard from, nor returned home, but police said he is believed to be in good mental and physical condition.

LaBrecque is described as a white male, 5’4” tall and weighing 156 lbs., with blue eyes and gray hair. He has notable scars on his chest and lower abdomen.

Other details surrounding his disappearance are unclear.
