Detroit police search for missing sisters, 11 and 15, last seen Monday night

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Two sisters, ages 11 and 15, were reported missing after they left home in Detroit Monday night and never came back.

Authorities say Neaveh and Nakiah Gibson went out without permission around 11 p.m. on May 15 and did not return to their residence -- located in the 14000 block of the Southfield Freeway service drive, just north of Joy Rd.

Both girls are described as slim, Black females between four feet, one inch and four feet, five inches tall.

When last seen, Neaveh, 15, was wearing a black jacket, black shirt and black shorts.

Nakiah, 11, had on a pink shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information about the girls' wherabouts, or who may have seen them, is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-5801.
