Authorities say 16-year-old Sommer Fairrow left a relative’s home in the 200 block of Eastlawn -- near the riverfront in the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood -- without permission shortly before 2 p.m. on July 7 and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Police describe Fairrow as approximately 5-foot-6, 220 lbs., with black and gray twists in her hair. She was last seen wearing a dark blue Nike T-shirt, black shorts and black and navy blue Nike shoes.

Authorities say Fairrow is in good physical and mental condition.

Police are asking anyone who has seen Sommer Fairrow, or knows of her whereabouts, to contact the Detroit Police Department’s Ninth Precinct at 313-596-5940.
