A toddler is in critical condition after being accidentally shot by her mother during an argument over an Uber Eats delivery.

The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Monday on Tyler street -- near Livernois and the Davison when police say an Uber Eats driver delivered the woman's chicken dinner to the wrong house.

That caused an argument with the neighbor who had gotten the food delivery, during which the neighbor allegedly pulled out a hammer. At that point, the mother -- a CPL holder -- grabbed a gun and fired shots. Her 20-month-old daughter was sitting in a gray Charger and she was hit by the gunfire and rushed to the hospital.

The mother was taken into custody. Police are continuing to investigate.
