ROCHESTER (WWJ) -- A store in downtown Rochester went up in flames Tuesday night.
After a fire was detected at the Moon River Soap Company, rescue crews rushed to the business on East Street near 4th Street.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, the Rochester Fire Department arrived on the scene just before 11 p.m. and were able to extinguish the fire.
Unfortunately, WWJ's Charlie Langton said the building sustained extensive damage as the flames shot out of the building.
The company was founded in 2009 and sells soaps, balms, scrubs, body oils and more.
Mayor Pro Tem Nancy Silver confirmed that no one was in the building when the fire erupted.
It's speculated by Facebook users and other Rochester business owners that a blown transformer was the reason for the fire after some reportedly heard a blast, said Fox 2.
It's not yet known what caused the fire.
