Detroit police searching for man who caused $5,000 of damage in gas station rampage [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are searching for a man who went on a rampage inside of a gas station and caused $5,000 worth of damage.

Authorities say the situation occurred on the evening of Sept. 21 when a man became angry with one of the workers at a gas station located on Schoolcraft near Greenfield.

Video captured on security cameras show the suspect throwing food and other items on the floor. At one point, he picks up a garbage can and throws it at the worker.
