Family pleads for answers in disappearance of 34-year-old man in Waterford 2 weeks ago

WATERFORD TWP. (WWJ) -- Crime Stoppers if Michigan says a family is pleading for tips from the public, hoping that someone has since their missing loved one.

Joshua Pooley, 34, was last seen on Sunday, April 3, in the area of M-59 and Airport Road in Waterford. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, red shirt, blue jeans and possibly a brown Carhartt coat.

He was on foot and was walking with a limp.

According to investigators, Pooley contacted family by phone from the 7-Eleven at 4100 Haggerty Road in Commerce at approximately 12 a.m. on Monday, April 4. Several hours later, at 6 a.m., he called again asked for a ride from an undisclosed location.

After that, it was reported, Pooley turned off his phone, ending communication with family and friends, and has not been heard from since.

Crime Stoppers noted that Pooley has been known to frequent the area near M-59 and Airport in Waterford, as well as Bloomer Park in West Bloomfield.

While the search for this missing man continues, Crime Stoppers is now offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to his location.
