Farmington Hills Police seek 2 who robbed Orchard Lake Road gas station at gunpoint

(WWJ) Farmington Hills Police are on the hunt for two suspects in the armed robbery of a gas station on Tuesday.

According to investigators, the yet-unidentified men walked into the Marathon on Orchard Lake Rd., at 12 Mile Rd., just after 11:30 a.m. — one of them pointing a handgun at the clerk.

The clerk was taken into the back room, money was taken out of the cash, and the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle, police said.

No one was hurt.

Police said Wednesday that evidence technicians processed the scene and detectives are now actively investigating the case.

Suspect number one is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10 to 5’11 tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap with a red brim, black face mask, black hoodie, black long sleeve jacket and tan color boots.

Suspect number two is described as a Black male, approximately 5’8'' to 5’9'' tall, with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a yellow and black Pittsburgh Pirates cap, a black face mask, black long sleeve jacket, and blue jeans.
