(WWJ) -- Go big or go home, right?
The Sterling Heights-based pizza chain, Jet's Pizza, will be cutting their pies into larger slices beginning Tuesday.
A small pizza will now be cut into four slices and a large will be cut into eight.
In a news release, president of Jet's America, John Jetts, said, "We believe our customers will love the new slices because they’ll be presented with a better consistent pizza with more cheese and toppings per slice.”
The company said that with this change, their crews will be making "about 25 million fewer cuts per year" which will help as the restaurant industry continues to face labor shortages.
Pizza slices won't be the only items getting bigger, as Jet's will also be increasing the size of their calzones to 10 inches from 8 inches.
The cost of the calzone will increase by $1.50 and end up serving two people.
Additional changes include making their popular chicken bacon ranch pizza a permanent menu item and increasing its Jet’s Boats and Deli Boats.
