(WWJ) – Back in 2014 when the city of Flint switched its water source from Detroit City water to water obtained from the Flint River, officials not only failed to ensure the safety of the water, they lied about it, affecting an entire city of about 100,000 people.

Fast forward eight years later, and many feel the city’s residents were let down again on Tuesday when the Michigan Supreme Court announced a judge had no right to issue indictments against former Gov. Rick Snyder and nine others, wiping away charges.

In a new edition of the Daily J podcast, WWJ's Zach Clark examines Tuesday’s stunning blow dealt to victims of the water crisis, how we arrived at this point and what may come next.
