
PORT HURON, Mich. (WWJ) -- An investigation is underway in Port Huron after an early Sunday morning shooting left two people injured and others scrambling away from the scene.
The incident unfolded shortly after 2 a.m. in the area of a parking lot on East Quay, between Fort and Michigan.
Police responded to the scene after receiving multiple reports to find that multiple cars had been shot at and several people were fleeing in multiple directions.
It was not clear what led up to the shooting.

Police later learned a 30-year-old Clinton Township man was shot in the ankle. He was treated at Lake Huron Medical Center was later transferred to a Beaumont Hospital. His condition was not known, as of late Monday afternoon.
A 23-year-old man from Clyde Township was struck by gunfire in his legs. He was treated and released from McLaren Port Huron Hospital.
Police are unsure whether the two victims knew each other.
Police have not identified any possible suspects or suspect vehicles, and the shooting remains under investigation.
