(WWJ) A Michigan man says he's going to Disney World after winning $1 million playing the Michigan Lottery’s Millionaire Wild Time instant game.

Lottery officials said Arnold Kleindienst, of Sand Creek in Lenawee County, bought his winning scratch-off ticket at the Country Market, at 1535 West Maumee Street in Adrian.

Sand Creek is located about 45 miles southwest of Ann Arbor.

“Millionaire Wild Time is my favorite game since I have been having good luck on it recently,” said Kleindienst. “I work at the Country Market and purchased some tickets on my break. When I saw I’d won $1 million, I was so excited and overwhelmed.”

The 46-year-old player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim his prize. He chose to receive a one-time lump sum payment of about $634,000 rather than 30 annuity payments for the full amount.

With his winnings, Kleindienst plans to take his family on a trip to Disney, complete some home improvements, and then save the rest.

“Winning is a great feeling! It eases stress and will make life easier,” Kleindienst said.

The Lottery says players have won more than $91 million playing Millionaire Wild Time which launched in August 2020. Each $20 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $20 up to $1 million. More than $10 million in prizes remain, including nine $10,000 prizes and 165 $1,000 prizes.

Instant games are sold at 10,500 retailers across the state.

In 2020, Lottery players won more than $1.5 billion playing instant games.
