I-75 reopens in Oakland County as police continue to investigate freeway shooting

(WWJ) -- In Oakland County, I-75 is back open after being closed for several hours as police searched for evidence in a reported freeway shooting.

Michigan State Police say a man was driving northbound in a Chevy when an unknown person shot at the vehicle, striking him.

The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

The northbound side of the freeway near East Holly Road was shut down for several hours while police search for evidence.

Witnesses say the suspect may have been driving in a white Audi.
