Man's body found outside Detroit home on Easter morning, police investigating

DETROIT (WWJ) – An investigation is underway after a man’s body was found Easter morning in a neighborhood on Detroit’s east side.

The body was discovered around 8:45 a.m. outside a home on Harvard Road, in the area of Cadieux and Mack in the city’s East English Village neighborhood.

Authorities have not released many details, but believe the man was shot to death, according to multiple reports.

Police have not identified the victim, and authorities did not say how old he may be.

It was not clear whether police have any leads on a possible suspect or motive.
