A big fire this morning has destroyed at least three buses in Westland.
The fire broke out earlier this morning behind the Dorsey Center near Merriman and Palmer Roads. Mayor William Wild says three buses, which are part of Nankin Transit, were fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
The buses are used by riders in Westland, Wayne, Garden City and Inkster.
The fire did NOT make its way to the building. No injuries have been reported.
The cause may be electrical as the diesel buses were plugged in to block heaters and it appears that's where the fire started.
