ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) – A 53-year-old Sterling Heights man is facing charges after he allegedly touched a female employee inappropriately at a Metro Detroit Marshalls Home Goods store.
Brian Lamont Swan has been accused of unwanted sexual contact with the woman at the store on July 1.
Officials with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office say the woman told deputies a man, later identified as Swan, walked behind her while she was working and “touched her from behind in a sexual manner.”
Detectives identified Swan using in-store surveillance video.
He was arrested at his home Thursday and taken into police custody without incident.
He was arraigned Thursday in 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills on one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. Swan was given a $20,000 cash/surety bond, or 10%.
Swan is being held in the Oakland County Jail.
Detectives in neighboring jurisdictions are investigating to determine if Swan may have been involved in similar incidents.
