On Monday the state reported just under 33,000 cases over a five-day span and health officials are continuing to urge Michiganders to get the vaccine as the state deals with a "fourth surge" of the virus.

Last week the state received more assistance from the federal government as officials announced a fourth team of federal support team of hospital workers would be headed to Muskegon.
