(WWJ) An investigation is underway in Kent County, Michigan, where a garage door fell on a young man, killing him.
The Kent County Sheriff's Office said what they're calling an accidental death happened Monday evening in Tyrone Township, northwest of Grand Rapids.

According to a sheriff's office news release, deputies were called just before 7:30 p.m. to a rural property in the 300 block of 22 Mile Rd. NW that used to be the site of the Tyrone Township Airport.
It was determined that the victim, identified as 18-year-old Jordan Kamp of Walker, died after a hanger garage-style door had mechanical failure and fell on him.
Deputies told WOOD-TV that the victim was with two friends in a large outbuilding when the accident happened.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
