GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. (WWJ) – A West Michigan woman suspected of traveling to Grand Traverse County multiple times to deliver drugs is in police custody after she was busted last week.

Myikerria Lapri Piggee, 21, was arraigned Friday on four counts of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of felony firearm.

Detectives with the Traverse Narcotics Team (TNT) investigated Piggee for two months, ultimately culminating in her arrest and the seizure of about 200 grams (nearly half a pound) of crystal meth, 8 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of fentanyl and a handgun.

TNT detectives conducted several controlled purchases of narcotics from Piggee. The Muskegon woman had visited the Grand Traverse County on several occasions in the last couple months, according to MSP, specifically to deliver large amounts of narcotics before returning to Muskegon.

Authorities conducted a traffic stop on April 26, where Piggee was found in possession of a “significant amount” of meth, fentanyl and a handgun.

Police officials also seized a large amount of cash and a vehicle.

Piggee was issued a personal recognizance bond and additional charges are expected from the Grand Traverse County Prosecutor’s Office after authorities continue to investigate.
