Missing 15-year-old Pontiac girl found safe, returned to her family

PONTIAC (WWJ) -- A 15-year-old Pontiac girl who went missing earlier this month was found safe, according to authorities, and has been returned to her family.

Jada Symone Lindsey was last seen by her father around midnight on March 18. After the family didn't hear from her, they filed a missing person's report.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said the teen was found by her mother on Tuesday, but ran away from her.

Detectives found her about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday near Cameron and Madison in Pontiac.

She was later was released to her mother’s custody.
