DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are searching for a missing teenager who disappeared after getting into a vehicle on the west side with an unknown person.

Damietrea Rogers, 15, hasn't been seen since early on Tuesday, August 8, when she left her home in the 9200 block of Archdale — north of Joy Road near the Southfield Freeway — without permission.

Police said the teen was seen getting into a white Ram pickup truck with a male driver, at around 1:30 a.m., and did not return home.

It's unclear if the driver was an adult, or possibly another teenager.

Rogers is described as a Black female, 5'5'' tall and weighing around 130lbs., with brown eyes and black hair worn in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing gray leggings and carrying a white bag.

Anyone who may have seen this missing teen, or who has any information about her whereabouts should call the DPD's 6th Precinct at 313-596-5601.
