MONROE (WWJ) -- A Monroe County man was apprehended last week after planning to meet up with a detective posing as an underage girl.
Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough says 33-year-old, Christopher Pack, was arrested on Feb. 17 with a three-count felony warrant following an undercover investigation by Violent Predator & Exploitation Response -- V.I.P.E.R -- Task Force.
The apprehension happened after Pack arranged to meet with a 14-year-old female in Frenchtown Township.
On Friday, Feb. 18, he was arraigned in the 1st District Court on the felony charges, which are:
• Count 1 -- Child abusive commercial activity
• Count 2 -- Using a computer to commit a crime
• Count 3 -- Children - Accosting for immoral purposes
He is currently lodged at the Monroe County Jail without incident.
Pack's bond is set at $50,000.
