(WWJ) -- A high speed chase on I-75 involving Michigan State Police and federal authorities on Tuesday went all the way to the Ohio state line.

MSP said a person wanted by the FBI for an armed bank robbery and "other numerous charges" was spotted late Tuesday morning, driving what was reported to be a newer model Ford Explorer on I-75 near Northline Rd. in Monroe County.

When the driver pulled over and troopers got out of their cars, the suspect took off, police said.

That's when a chase began with speeds hitting more than 100 miles per hour.

The pursuit was called off when the suspect went into Ohio, and MSP said Toledo Police and the Ohio Highway Patrol took over.

There were no injuries reported.

MSP said the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is continuing to investigate.

Police did not say where or when the bank robbery occurred.

There is also no name or description of the wanted suspect at this time. WWJ has a call out to the FBI for more information.
