BELLEVILLE (WWJ) -- Police in Belleville are searching for a gunman who randomly shot at vehicles last night.
The gunman was driving a black sedan on Belleville Road around 8 o'clock, when they started shooting at cars near Denton Road. At least three cars were hit.

A 16-year-old boy was the only person injured. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police recovered the vehicle but are still searching for the suspect.
"This was truly a frightening incident for the victims of this senseless crime. I cannot thank the citizens enough for their true partnership and their willingness to assist us when they witness a crime," said Chief David Robinson.
