ROCHESTER (WWJ) -- The Oakland University Police Department (OUPD) has opened an investigation after a reported sexual assault in a campus parking lot.
Late Tuesday night, between approximately 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., a student was sexually assaulted in the P-5 parking lot. The lot is located on the west side of Oak View Hall, on the north side of OU's Main Campus.
The victim met the suspect on the dating app Tinder. They were on their first in-person date when the suspect became violent.
OUPD provided the following description of the suspect:
A 21-year-old male; 6 feet, 1 inch tall; weighing approximately 190 pounds.
He has brown eyes and black hair.
The suspect was driving a black 2019 Chevrolet Camaro.
