ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) -- Oakland County Prosecutors say Ethan Crumbley had additional chilling murder plans before he carried out a deadly mass shooting last November at Oxford High School.

Disturbing information from text messages and a journal came to light in arguments as the 15-year-old appeared in Oakland County Circuit for a hearing on Tuesday.

Markeisha Washington, with the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office, revealed some new details as she presented the prosecution's case to a judge who will decide whether Crumbley will remain in the adult jail, or return to a juvenile facility.

"Regarding the defendant's age and mental maturity, the evidence will show that despite the defendant's biological age, he discussed topics and interests well beyond that of an average 15-year-old," Washington said. "In a text thread with his friend and in his journal, he outlined a plan to stalk, rape, torture and ultimately kill a female classmate."

Crumbley is charged as an adult with 24 felonies in the shooting that took the lives of four schoolmates and injured six other students and a teacher.

The massacre was planned out in advance, Washington asserted.

"The evidence will show that the defendant had a very specific and detailed agenda leading up to November 30th," she said. "In his journals he described the type of gun he needed, who is first victim would be, and ultimately he expressed how he would surrender so he could witness the pain and suffering that he caused."

Judge Kwame Rowe is considering a request from Crumbley's court-appointed attorney and court-appointed guardian that the teen be moved from the Oakland County jail to be housed instead at Children's Village in Pontiac.

A decision is expected to be announced next Monday.
