OXFORD (WWJ) -- Oxford students will return to the high school for the first time since the deadly shooting that left the community devastated last month.
From Monday, Dec. 13 through Wednesday, Dec. 15, students are being permitted to pick up their belongings that were left strewn about the school during the chaotic events on Nov. 30.
According to school officials, pick up will occur in the main entrance area of Oxford High School’s north parking lot. Items will be organized based on the student’s fifth period class.
Parents and students are asked to stay in their vehicles while staff members bring out the items.
Police, counselors and therapists will also be on hand at the school this week to provide additional support.
It’s happening the same day that suspected shooter Ethan Crumbley is set to appear in court for a probable cause hearing in Rochester Hills.
The attorney representing Crumbley says the 15-year-old remains under constant watch at the Oakland County Jail.
Crumbley is being charged as an adult with murder, terrorism and several other counts for the Nov. 30 shooting, which claimed the lives of four students, and left seven others injured.
