LINCOLN PARK (WWJ) -- Police are investigating after two women claim they were sexually assaulted while getting the coronavirus vaccine.
WWJ’s Charlie Langton reports that two sisters — ages 19 and 22 — went to the Kroger in Lincoln Park with their father to get their shots.
The women were then escorted individually behind a curtain to receive their vaccine, and each say that the man administering the shot then assaulted them, fondling and squeezing their breasts.
After alerting their father, he immediately reported the incident to Lincoln Park police.
Kroger then suspended the man, who police say is in his 50s.
“The individual in question is not currently administering vaccines. We are working with local law enforcement on this open investigation and cannot comment further at this time,” Kroger said in a statement (via ClickOnDetroit.com.)
Authorities are asking anyone who may have had a similar incident to alert Lincoln Park police.
