DEARBORN (WWJ) - Authorities in Dearborn are turning to the public for help in finding a male suspect who they claim exposed his genitals while inside a Burlington Coat Factory store last week.
According to the Dearborn Police Department, the incident occurred on Wednesday, July 5, around 11:30 p.m. inside the Burlington Coat Factory off Ford Road on the east side of Dearborn.
The male suspect was captured on security footage and the stills were released by police to the public in hopes that someone will recognize him.
The department said the man is sporting a full beard and appears to have tattoos on his left forearm, just above the wrist.
The suspect was wearing a gray hat, white shirt, gray shorts and sandals at the time of the incident.
“Indecent acts such as this can have a traumatic and lasting effect on those that witness them," Dearborn Police Commander Timothy McHale said. "We urge the community to assist our investigators with any helpful information that can lead to the identity and whereabouts of this suspect.”
