Police searching for 12-year-old Detroit girl missing since Tuesday

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Have you seen Oshay Winters?

The Detroit Police Department is hoping that someone in the public will call in with a tip to help them bring this missing 12-year-old girl safely home.

According to police, the pre-teen was last seen at her home in the 5700 block of Holcomb Ave., near McClellan and Gratiot Ave. on the city's east side, on Tuesday, July 19.

Police said Winters left her home at around 10 p.m. without permission, and she did not return.

Winters is described as a Black female, 5'3'' tall and around 120 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue or purple sundress.
