DETROIT (WWJ) -- Two people are expected to face charges in connection with a series of drug raids in Detroit.

Michigan State Police are showing off guns, drugs and money sized when search warrants were served Thursday in what MSP is calling "Operation Secret Coney."

MSP said the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team (MNET), an MSP led narcotics task force, raided three Detroit locations following a months-long investigation into illegal drug activity. Officers seized 341.3 grams of heroin, 157.9 grams of cocaine, three pistols — two of them allegedly stolen, and one with a scratched off serial number — two long guns, and $21,264 in cash.

MSP said a suspect involved was recently involved in a shooting and his car — which he'd "dumped," but was located by police — had several "fresh bullet holes."

Charges are pending against the suspect and his girlfriend, police said. There names were not released, as the investigation continues.

MNET was assisted by the MSP Emergency Support Team, MSP Canine Unit, U.S. Border Patrol, and the Metro South Post. The MSP Second District added in a statement, shared along with a photo of the sized items: "Great job reducing violent crime in the city of Detroit."

It's unclear whether one of the locations raided was a Coney Island, or why MSP named the operation after the popular Detroit-style hot dog. No further details were provided.
