Shirtless gunman fires shots inside Jefferson Avenue liquor store; Police searching for 2 suspects [PHOTOS+VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit detectives are asking for tips to identify a pair of suspects in a shooting at an east side liquor store.

The incident happened the evening of Wednesday, June 7, in the 14200 block of E. Jefferson Ave., near Chalmers St., according to Detroit Police.

At around 6:30 p.m., police said the two suspects for into a "physical alteration" inside the store with a 35-year-old man.

After fight, police said one of the suspects left the store, went to a silver Saturn and got a handgun.

He then went back into the liquor store and fired shots.

No one was injured.

Both suspects then left, fleeing the area in the Saturn.

No injuries were reported.

The armed suspect is described as a male, 5’7” tall and weighing around 180 lbs., with his hair in braids. He was wearing black shorts, and no shirt.

The second suspect is also a male, around 6’1” tall and 230 lbs., wearing all black clothing.
