STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) -- A man is dead following a targeted shooting at an apartment complex in Macomb County.
Sterling Heights police were called around 1:30 a.m. to Sterling Landing Apartments near 15 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue on reports of possible shots fired.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a man in his late 20s dead in the parking lot from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officials are not yet releasing the man’s identity as they attempt to contact his family, and complete and autopsy.
Meanwhile, the shooter remains at large as police continue to investigate.
