DETROIT (WWJ) -- Do you know any of these people?
The Detroit Police Department is asking for help from the public to identify half-a-dozen "persons of interest" in connection with a shooting on the city's west side.
According to investigators, early in the morning of Thursday, Dec. 2, the victim was leaving a bar in the 14000 block of Plymouth Rd. when he was followed by two vehicles. The first vehicle was a white Lincoln SUV, with two men inside. The second vehicle was a charcoal gray Kia SUV, with two men and two women.
As the victim was driving away westbound on Plymouth, the suspect vehicles continued to follow him when he turned onto Greenfield and then finally Joy Rd., police said.
At around 1:55 a.m., police said one of the people in one of the suspect vehicles then shot at the victim, striking him in the body.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and survived the attack, police said.
The shooter remains at large, and police are hoping that releasing some images from a Project Green Light camera will bring in some tips in the case.
Person of interest #1 is described as a female with long blonde hair, wearing a black skull cap, white short-sleeve t-shirt and black pants, with black and white gym shoes.
Person #2 is a female with a heavy build, black and blonde ombre hair, a red t-shirt, distressed denim jacket, black crossbody purse, black pants, with black shoes.
Person #3 is a male wearing a tan skull cap, white zip-up jacket with Lola Bunny from Space Jam on the front, burgundy Nike lanyard around neck, black Adidas pants with white stripes down the leg, with white, orange and red gym shoes.
Person #4 is a male wearing a black hat, red hoodie, red jacket with black sleeves, light distressed jeans, with tan boots.
Person #5 is a male with a medium build, dreadlocks, a black Victory Lap jacket with Crenshaw written on the front in white lettering, gray t-shirt, gray distressed jeans, with black and white gym shoes.
Person #6 is a male wearing a black Victory Lap jacket with Crenshaw written on the front in white lettering, neon green hoodie, black pants with neon green stripe down the side of the leg, with tan boots.

At this point, police said they do not know why the victim was followed or shot.
Anyone who may be able to identify any of the persons of interest, or who has any information about this case, is asked to call the DPD's 2nd precinct at 313-596-5200 or Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up (1-800-773-2587). Those who call Crime Stoppers will remain 100% anonymous, and will not be required to speak to police.
