Michigan State Police are telling WWJ Newsradio 950 that soaking rain overnight across metro Detroit has made some busy thoroughfares difficult to traverse.

Flooding has struck side streets and freeways, including: The I-75 ramp to EB I-94, the EB I-94 exit to Chene, and EB I-94 at Brush. Lights are out on Telegraph in Taylor.

St. Clair Shores was hit hard, with Jefferson closed at 12 Mile Road due to flooding.

"There's a lot of water here!" Charlie Langton reported as people waded between flooded and trapped vehicles. "Look at that! There's a lot of water here."
