DETROIT (WWJ) -- “It’s So Cold in the D”…that you can even see it from space!
The International Space Station flew over Southern Michigan and Southern Ontario on Thursday afternoon, and its cameras captured the snowy and frozen landscape that is currently Metro Detroit.
The video, which was featured on NASA’s live feed, looks rather bleak from above, with plenty of the white stuff spanning across the region.
It also shows footage of the Great Lakes, including Lake Erie, Lake Huron and Lake Ontario.
We’d recommend checking out the overhead view while tucked into a blanket with some hot chocolate, because the stunning views will almost certainly give you chills!
