TROY (WWJ) -- One person has been arrested following a police chase Wednesday in Oakland County.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office confirmed to WWJ Newsradio 950 that deputies were involved in a pursuit, early in the afternoon, which culminated in the arrest of a suspect on Rochester Road, near South Boulevard, in Troy.

The incident was witnessed by a WWJ listener in her car, who called the Newsroom to report that the chase ended about 50 feet away from her, causing a jam on Rochester Rd.
She described the suspect vehicle as a "beat-up" black SUV, with at least one flat tire and its muffler hanging off.
"There was a lot of lunchtime traffic," the caller told WWJ's Tony Ortiz. "I don't know if there was any guns or anything like that, but there was about 30 Oakland County sheriffs... coming and coming."
"I believe they stopped him," she added, "but that place is going to be locked up for awhile."
The sheriff's office did not immediately release any further information about the incident, including details about the suspect or what prompted the pursuit.
No injuries were reported.
