Police say the shooting stemmed from an earlier altercation inside the home, but have not said what led to the incident.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found people fleeing the area on foot and in cars.

Authorities say they recovered multiple shell casings and conducted an extensive search around the area, but found no victims.

The house had been struck by multiple bullets, however. Authorities say the shooting is believed to be a targeted incident and they did not believe there was any danger posed to the community.

Investigators worked throughout the night and were able to identify a possible suspect vehicle used in the shooting -- what appears to be a black or dark-colored Jeep or SUV.
